Meet The Artist

Hi, my name is MaryEvelyn Murray! I’m a senior Art major with a minor in Business, and I’m thrilled to be collaborating with A PreLoved Project this semester. I have always wanted to have more of an active role in the promotion of eco-friendly clothing, and the opportunity to combine art and sustainability in this way is a wonderful chance to do just that. Fast fashion has become a huge problem throughout my college career, and I am excited for this project to combat that issue at such an accessible and personal level. My process of screen printing my art onto articles of clothing is a joy to create and even more fulfilling to see people wear. I look forward to growing in this medium of art and learning more about sustainable fashion practices throughout this process!
