Project Mayflower is a documentary made in reaction to the absence of well-informed, interesting guides to Spartanburg and surrounding areas. When people, like incoming students to SMC, first come to Spartanburg, they have no idea what there is to do within the area. This documentary aims to tackle that issue.
ABOUT PATRICK VAN WINKLE
Hey, I'm Patrick, a Spartanburg native. I've been interested in story-telling for my entire life. My interest in filmmaking seriously began about 7 years ago. Since then, I've been consistently watching films, reading about the art, and conceptualizing ideas for own films I hope to produce someday. This capstone is an outlet for a few of these ideas and a forum to share the things I've learned in the last 22 years about my hometown
