Who am I?

My name is Olivia Elm and I am a senior at Spartanburg Methodist College. I study Psychology and Criminal Justice. A bit about me is that I am one of six children. I have two sisters and three brothers. I am engaged to my Fiancé, Zach. We expect to get married next fall. We also have two dogs that we adopted. Our first baby is Denali, she is a German shepherd mix. Our second sweet babies name is Millie. She is a golden retriever mix. We have a small family, but our hearts are growing big for each other and for our babies.
My hopes for this project is to bring Mental Health Awareness to our college campus community. Stress for college students is always high. Whether it be the beginning of the semester, ending of the semester, a test, a project, a presentation, or even a pandemic. College students for years have been battling stress and overwhelmingness of their education. I am creating this capstone to give the college students at Spartanburg Methodist College an opportunity to have a voice. This is an opportunity for them to say what they need to say without having to speak a word. I am in hopes to give this opportunity of individualization to my fellow classmates. Everyone is human, everyone deserves a voice, and everyone deserves Mental Health Awareness.
