CARING FOR OUR WILDCATS

My name is Heather Harris, and I am a senior at Spartanburg Methodist College.  For the longest time, I wanted to travel back to my roots and make a difference in the lives of those who live in my hometown, Blacksburg, SC.  I developed Caring for our Wildcats in order to give back to the institution that shaped me into the person I am now, Blacksburg High School.  As a BHS alumnus, I witnessed first-hand how difficult it was for some of my classmates to access basic necessities.  This project aims to collect funds and personal care items so that BHS students can utilize a room fully stocked with hygiene products.  With this initiative, teens can discreetly "shop around" for whatever items they may need.
