WHO AM I?
I am Shelby Allisun, other than being an artist I am a senior at Spartanburg Methodist College, majoring in business with concentrations in management and entrepreneurship.
I have been creating art ever since I could remember. It started out as a hobby but has now also become a way to express my thoughts and emotions. My hopes for my work is for people to see a reflection of their own story in my art.

The concept for my capstone project is to launch my own art business. This is because art is my passion and I do not wish to leave creating as just a hobby but to incorporate it into my career as well.
My business will provide the public with modern and surrealistic artwork that provokes thoughts and emotions.
I still have so much learning to do regarding the art business, but I believe that launching my art business will give me a hands-on opportunity to continue to learn through trial and error.
