My name is Jenrry Ventura
I am from Spartanburg, SC, and a senior here at Spartanburg Methodist College with a concentration in history and psychology. The main purpose of the Pioneer Classic is to give young teens that do not play or represent an academy an opportunity to compete in something recreational in order to keep their interest in playing a sport that they have cherished since their early childhood.

It all starts with a spark of interest: an interest to be healthy, an ambition to be strong, a pursuit to be fast, and a goal to be #1. At The Pioneer Classic, our goal is to spark interest in this sport by setting up a friendly tournament that gives teens a crack at playing soccer with the hope that it will spark their curiosity while also bringing a kind of exposure to this popular sport. Whether you’re a newcomer or a trained player, help us by bringing more eyes and interest into this sport that many around the world loves.
