What GPA do I need to receive financial aid?

  • Best chances to receive scholarships starts with a 3.0 GPA in certain schools. Spartanburg Methodist College offers a full tuition package with a 3.0 GPA.

  • Some scholarships place importance on other criteria, such as financial needs, volunteer experience or involvement in a sport or club.

Do I need to be a U.S citizen to apply/enroll to college?

  • No, you can apply and enroll in private schools regardless of your residency status.

Am I able to receive financial aid being a non-citizen of the U.S ?

  • Yes, your hard work in High School does pay off by providing scholarship opportunities in different areas such as academics or sports.

Do I have to pay anything to apply for college?

  • Application fees are waived by most colleges. SMC application is free.
